2015 Offsite Events

One of the biggest parts about the San Diego Comic-Con 2015 experience will be all of the offsite events offered all around the Gaslamp District. In fact, there is so much to do that it is worth it to go even if you don’t have a ticket to SDCC! However, all offsite events are not created equal- so I have listed for you some of my favorites you might want to check out. Please note that times, locations, and prices (and requirement) are always subject to change so go to the respective websites for up to date info. (Listed in order of start times/dates)

  1. I think I might forego some of the evening events in favor of some rest and sleep. I might have overdone it last year by going to both Chris Hardwick’s Midnight and Nerdist Podcast shows as well as W00tstock. Just not getting any younger! XD

    • Yea, with more offsite events it’s easy to overdue it. I remember when there was nothing to do after hours besides enjoy s long dinner with friends. Now you have to show restraint. Thanks for commenting!

  2. My podcasting buddy doesn’t have a SDCC badge this year, so we’ll be doing more offsites than ever before. This will be my 4th SDCC, and we never miss Geek N Sundry and Hollywood Babble-On. I’m a huge Felicia Day fan, and love meeting her each year. I’m an even bigger Kevin Smith fan. Babble-On is a great show, and a great podcast. By the way, it’s at the House of Blues, not the Hard Rock. We’re Star Wars: The Old Republic players, and the BioWare community team does a Community Cantina event each year. It’s always fun talking Star Wars, and gaming. It’s free, and they usually give out a free drink ticket or two, and provide a few munchies. Those are my favorites, but I have no doubt we’ll be hitting Nerd HQ again this year as well.

  3. WeLoveTourists.com is offering a Comic-Con Special on Segway Tours
$49 for a Gaslamp Harbor or La Jolla Segway tour,
$65 for a Balboa Park, $85 for a SD City Loop, and $95 for an Advanced Tour.
Just tell them who is better, Superman or Batman, and why.

  4. Friday 7.10 at McFadden’s of San Diego (Gaslamp), David Hasselhoff will be in to perform his hit single from Kung Fury! If you don’t know what that is…stop what you are doing and watch it. It will change your life!
