2014 Exclusives

One of the biggest aspects that sets San Diego Comic-Con apart from other conventions are the Toy Exclusives offered each year. Ranging from trinkets to the grandiose, Comic-Con Exclusives are some of the rarest and most sought after finds in the toy collecting community. From this point, different distributors will be announcing what they are offering as tribute to the SDCC horde- so start saving your mullah! These will roll out for the first time at the show with a limited amount will be kept in stock each day at distributor’s booths. Here are some of my favorites to keep your eyes out for:

LEGO is giving away an exclusive, limited edition mini figure of Bard the Bowman. From The Hobbit, Bard is one of four figures that will be given to attendees in a lottery-style give-away. And there’s more. The Warners booth will have a six foot tall LEGO model of Smaug on display (not to lean on).

Hasbro Marvel PPW Deadpool Mr. Potato Head stands 6 inches tall and comes with a variety of components are included to mix and match on Deadpool Potato Head himself. Also offered will be the Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy 10″ Rocket Raccoon 10″ Plush. Both will be $19.99 each and will be available at the UCC Distributing Inc. booth #700

For you LEGO enthusiast, the Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Rocket’s Warbird! The set will include 145 pieces and will retail for $39.99 with limited quantities for each day.

Spanky Stokes just revealed the Skybound Minis 2-Packs which will each have one of 6 possible colors for both Rick and Invincible for $20. There are 12 figures in total limited to 5000. Pick them up at the Skybound booth #2729.

Go back in time with the X-Men Days of Future Past Minimates by Diamond Select Toys. Limited to 3,000 pieces, the set will be available for $20 at Booth 2607.

Toy Tokyo just announced their Hikari vinyl figures of 3 variant vinyl figures featuring Masters of the universe Skeletor, Batman and Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

A 6” Baymax from Disney’s upcoming feature film Big Hero 6. This armored hero can be picked up at the Big Hero 6 Booth (#3635) for $30 each.

While this is not an ‘Exclusive’ this Peavey Limited Edition 2014 Comic-Con Eastman/Laird Glow-in-the-Dark TMNT Guitar is pretty epic. Attendees can enter to win exclusively at the Diamond PREVIEWS world Booth #2401.

NERF Garruk’s Axe and Magic cards comes with six limited-edition alternate-art Planeswalkers cards. The set will be available for $110.99 at Hasbro booth (limit one per person).

 

Gentle Giant Ltd. announced their fourth San Diego Comic-Con 2014 exclusive – R2-KT Maquette. Limited to 500, R2-KT is priced at $80 and is available to pre-order for PG members.

 
Funko’s relentless assault on our wallets is nothing but merciless. Now we have the glow-in-the-darl Walter White and the beat up Hershel Greene from The Walking Dead.

Adventure Time BMO Tin Tote Gift Set! This Entertainment Earth Exclusive will be available at booth #2343 for $36.99.

Exclusive Stan Lee Pop! Vinyl, $25 each, at the Crazy Cat Collectibles Booth #429

Bandai’s 6.5“ vinyl Godzilla figure in exclusive diorama packaging. Priced at $60, only 500 will be available.

Dark Horse announced new Exclusives based on HBO’s Game of Thrones to include all three Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons ($25 each), an exclusive new map marker ($25), and a new shield wall plaque ($30)! Read more here and available at the Dark Horse booth.

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Limited Edition Legacy Dragon Dagger. Plated in 24 karat gold, the full size sword is complete Mighty Morphin sounds! Limited to 1,000 pieces, it will be available at the Bandai America booth #121

Star Wars Gold Millennium Falcon Metal Replica Key Chain ($14.95) by QMx. This gold-plated, steel-alloy key chain was created using the official digital files from the Lucasfilm archives. Available for purchase at QMx Booth #3249

Firefly Gold Leaf on the Wind Key Chain/Pendant ($14.95). The world’s smallest gold Firefly sits atop a bronze-colored leaf attached to a heavy-duty key chain. Available for purchase at QMx Booth #3249

The classic ROM, the Space Knight, figure is back in an adorable Mighty Muggs. The 5.5 inch, 100% recycled figure costs $22.99 can be picked up at Booth #3329 or afterwards at HasbroToyShop.com. You can read more info at MTV.

Nothing more awesome than an anthropomorphic raccoon with a foul mouth and large gun! The Rocket Raccoon SDCC 2014 Mini Bust from Gentle Giant. Visit their website for more info.

The Walking Dead Lucille Vinyl Mini Replica Bat ($40). Negan’s favorite lady, Lucille, immortalized in vinyl and designed by the team at October Toys. Toys R Us announced the Black Series Cantina Showdown 6″ Greedo and Han Solo figures set.

Icon Heroes releases the Yellow Star Trek Logo Bookends! Limited to just 150, you can order these through Action Figure XPress for $80.

 

Man of Steel and Dark a Knight Mini-Figs by Factory Entertainment. These clip on heroes also open up to reveal a tiny pencil! 2000 will be made and available at booth #2747 ($15) and for preorder.

Rockin’ Romance JEM Doll will be available directly from the HASBRO TOY SHOP (booth #3329) for the price of $139.99. Seems pricey but whatever floats your boat 😉 More info here.

Titan Merchandise has revealed a 6.5” 10th Doctor, 6.5” War Doctor, and a 9″ Titan version of ‘The Beast’ from the 2006 episode of Doctor Who. More info coming soon.

While technically not an ‘Exclusive’, the coveted Official Comic-Con International shirt can ONLY be picked up at the show. I HIGHLY encourage you to pre-order one for pick up- otherwise it will take hours of waiting in line to get one at the show- if they don’t sell out. There are several styles to choose from like the Toucan, Jim Lee’s Batman, the CCI logo, Comics Arts Conference, and the CLBLDF. Purchase at the CCI website.

My Little Pony is an annual favorite for Comic-Con. This year is an usual one with the Mane-iac Mayhem Pony. HasbroToyShop.com

David Horvath, the CEO of Ugly Dolls, posted this on his Instagram and said “SDCC Joker, won’t be in stores, low production run. He he he, ha ha ha, Big Toe!” Sounds like an Exclusive to me!

Star Wars Insider magazine has revealed Hot Wheels and Mattel’s first Star Wars 1:64 scale Darth Vader Car- and will come in a special lightsaber display case!

ET Online revealed Transformers Exclusive of 80’s Hair Metal Band themed box set named the “Knights of Unicron”. The box set is of Fall of Cybertron Optimus Prime and “Smooth Jazz”, War For Cybertron Megatron and Soundwave, and Animated Laserbeak and Ratbat. The epicness will be available at Booth #3329 at SDCC and eventually on Hasbro Toy Shop. Hasbro will be revealing better photos soon.

Mezco’s Living Dead Dolls 16th Anniversary White Posey will be available for pre-order on June 16th.

Mezco’s Sons Of Anarchy Jax Orange Prison Variant action figure that will be available to order on June 13th for $30.
