My Sacramento Comic Con Panels

I’m excited for my first time to Sacramento for Comic Con (Mar 7-9) hosted by Wizard World! It’s Friday morning and the show is already gearing up to be a huge success with 3-Day passes and Saturday passes already sold out- and Friday/Sunday is close behind. No surprise for Sac-Town with great guests like Chris Hemsworth, Norman Reedus, Stan Lee, and William Shatner. With my tight schedule, I probably won’t have time to see much of downtown but let me know if you have any food recommendations near the convention center. I have a couple of great panels over the weekend so I hope to see you there!

Saturday 1:00 – 1:45 UNLEASHING CREATIVITY
As an artist, writer, actor, musician or creator, there is nothing more challenging than the development of the creative process. Is art birthed from the spontaneous or is it a result of a carefully crafted rhythm and structure? In this panel, esteemed creators, Rob Prior (Spawn; Deep Space 9; Evil Ernie; Heavy Metal) and moderator Tony Kim describe how to overcome creative obstacles and share their keys to unleashing creativity. (ROOM 103).

Rob is amazing in person and anyone that is interested in exploring a creative field should definitely be at this panel.

The pop culture explosion through gaming, comics, TV, and film has opened up new opportunities for cultural diversity; however, many obstacles still exists. In this humorous but poignant discussion, diverse geek experts will discuss breaking ethnic stereotypes and what changes need to happen for us to boldly go into the future. Moderated by Tony Kim. (ROOM 103)

It’s gonna be a great show and hope to see you there! Check out the entire programming schedule here!
